Innovative “PC Stick” Powered by Insyde® Software’s UEFI BIOS

Unique, “Stick” Form-Factor PC based on Intel® “Bay Trail-Entry” SoC

INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM – SAN FRANCISCO, SEPTEMBER 9, 2014 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS today announced that its UEFI BIOS, InsydeH2O®, has been deployed on a soon-to-be-available “PC Stick”, an ultra-small PC based on Intel’s “Bay Trail-Entry” system on chip (SoC). The PC Stick is similar in size to a USB key.

The PC Stick is positioned as a “Portable and Affordable PC” in an attractive, compact form factor similar to a USB stick. Running Microsoft® Windows® 8.1 or Android™ 4.4 KitKat, along with wireless keyboard/mouse and HDMI support, it can easily turn any TV or monitor into a PC, offering compelling graphics and media performance for business or entertainment use.
