WESTBOROUGH, MA – January 19, 2023 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and BMC management firmware, announced today the readiness of its enabling and management solutions for the AMD Instinct™ MI300 Data Center APU, recently unveiled by AMD at the CES exhibition in Las Vegas.
AMD’s Instinct MI300 represents the industry’s first data center package that brings together a CPU, GPU and memory into a single integrated design. The integrated chip features 24 Zen 4 CPU cores, six CDNA chiplets, along with 128GB of HBM3 (High Bandwidth Memory 3). The MI300 is capable of performing up to 8X faster and achieve 5X improved performance per watt over the previous MI250 package while also being much easier to program for hybrid computing.
