Insyde® Software Announces Support for ASPEED AST2500 6th Generation Server Management SoC
Supervyse® BMC Firmware and InsydeH2O® UEFI BIOS Provide Critical Firmware for Servers Leveraging the New Aspeed AST2500 Family
COMPUTEX - TAIPEI, TAIWAN – JUNE 2, 2015 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and systems management software, today announced that its family of Supervyse® server management solutions now support the recently launched ASPEED AST2500 family of Advanced PCIe Graphics & Remote Management Processors. This announcement represents the ongoing commitment and long-term support that Supervyse has for ASPEED’s line of BMCs (Baseboard Management Controllers).
Offering a robust systems management foundation for Enterprise and Cloud Computing servers, Supervyse provides out-of-band remote platform management, support for a wide breadth of industry standards for server manageability, fan/sensor/power-supply monitoring and control, media redirection, KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) support and comprehensive security features.
Supervyse is well aligned to match the impressive suite of capabilities and performance of the ASPEED AST2500 family. Powered by an 800 MHz ARM11 processor, the AST2500 features include PCIe 1x Gen 2, eSPI, DDR4/3 LV, VGA support and a host of advanced BMC features.
