Insyde® Software Delivers Full Compliance for New Secure PC Requirements at Microsoft’s WinHEC Conference

MICROSOFT WINHEC CONFERENCE, TAIPEI, TAIWAN, NOVEMBER 30th, 2017 – Insyde Software, a leading provider of UEFI firmware and systems management software, today announced that it has been invited to demonstrate its support for Microsoft’s new “highly secure Windows 10 PC” requirements at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC), taking place in Taipei, Taiwan, November 30th to December 1st, 2017 and in Shenzhen, China December 6th to 7th, 2017.
At WinHEC, Insyde will participate in Microsoft’s hands-on Firmware Test Lab that will focus on validation testing for firmware update processes leveraging the Window Update experience.
A “highly secure Windows 10 PC” indicates to users that their computer will provide a secure experience because their PC’s hardware and firmware meets or exceeds Microsoft’s latest and most advanced requirements. Notable security updates supported by InsydeH2O and shipping with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update includes improved support for TPMs (Trusted Platform Modules), new functionality for Secure Boot, secure firmware update, Device Guard, Credential Guard and more.
