HILLSBORO, OR and TAIPEI, TAIWAN – January 12, 2023 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and BMC management firmware, announced today that its BIOS and BMC firmware solutions are optimized for the 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable and Xeon Max Processors launched earlier this week at Intel’s “Accelerate with Xeon” event.
Intel’s latest scalable server processors deliver workload-focused enhancements with new built-in accelerators for workloads including data analytics, while the new Intel® Xeon® Max CPU series represents the first and only x86-processor with high-bandwidth memory (HBM), accelerating many HPC workloads without any code changes. Generational improvements include doubling the 3rd generation maximum core count to 56 and improved I/O and memory bandwidth with DDR5, PCIe 5.0, and CXL (Compute Express Link) 1.1 support. Additionally, this latest generation delivers hardened security through enhanced Software Guard Extensions (Intel SGX) with new cryptographic memory integrity, Total Memory Encryption (Intel TME) and Platform Firmware Resiliency (Intel PFR).
