Supervyse® Systems Management Selected by AMD as the Reference BMC Firmware for the AMD® EPYC™ 7000 Series Data Center Platforms
COMPUTEX - TAIPEI, TAIWAN June 5, 2018 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and systems management software, today announced that Supermicro’s A+ Server product portfolio with AMD’s EPYC 7000 series processors is leveraging its Supervyse® BMC firmware. This includes a broad product line of 1U and 2U rackmount servers as well as Tower/4U platforms targeting a variety of enterprise, cloud, and high-performance applications.
Insyde Software was selected by AMD as its partner to provide BMC firmware for AMD EPYC series hardware reference designs. Under this arrangement, the two companies work closely together to ensure timely support of new AMD hardware with a robust systems management solution that supports key industry standards including IPMI, DMTF Redfish®, RAID, NVMe, SMASH and more.
Optimized for high-performance computing and scalability, Supermicro's AMD EPYC™ 7000-series based single and dual-socket systems support up to 64 cores or 128 threads in high-density 1U, 2U and 4U versatile form-factors.
