Company’s Chief Technology Officer to Present at The UEFI Forum Plugfest in Taipei, Taiwan

TAIPEI, TAIWAN – OCTOBER 30, 2017 - Insyde Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and systems management software, today announced its participation as sponsor and presenter at The UEFI Plugfest being held from October 30th to November 3rd, 2017 at the Capital Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan.

Insyde’s presentation will be delivered by CTO Tim Lewis on the second day of the event and will provide timely insight into hardening firmware security. Mr. Lewis’s presentation, titled “Strategies for Stronger Software SMI Security in UEFI Firmware” being delivered on October 31st, 2017 explores common software SMI vulnerabilities and how to avoid them with critical UEFI firmware and application implementations.
