Insyde® Software Joins Industry Panel at CERT Vendor Meeting 2022 Discussing Next-Generation UEFI Firmware Attacks

Chief Technology Officer and Head of Insyde’s Office of Security & Trust Tim Lewis Among Panel of Cybersecurity Experts to Discuss

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – June 06, 2022 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and BMC management firmware, announced today that it will be delivering a presentation on next-generation UEFI firmware attacks at the CERT Vendor Event occurring Monday, June 6th at 9AM PDT.

Insyde Software CTO Tim Lewis will join other Cybersecurity experts on a panel discussing firmware vulnerabilities. Lewis’ presentation, titled “All the Low Hanging Fruit Is Gone: Next Generation UEFI Firmware Attacks, will provide context for where next-generation firmware attacks are headed, as well as the recommended practices, tools and collaboration that will be necessary to thwart them. The panel presentation will be followed by a Q&A session for event attendees.

In addition to the CERT Vendor Event, Insyde Software will also be attending the 2022 RSA Conference (RSAC), occurring June 6th-9th at the Moscone Center venue in San Francisco.
