Insyde Software Unveils UEFI Firmware for UMPC & MID Markets

InsydeH2O Showcased on Ultra-Mobile PC and Mobile Internet Device Platforms at the Intel Developer Forum

INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, SAN FRANCISCO, CA, SEPTEMBER 18, 2007 - Insyde Software, a leading provider of Universal Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) based firmware, BIOS, and engineering services, today announced its commitment to the emerging Ultra-Mobile PC and Mobile Internet Device markets and its demonstration of solutions for these platforms at the Intel Developers Forum (IDF) being held this week at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Exhibiting in the Mobile Internet Device (MID) Community Pavilion, Insyde will highlight its UEFI Framework firmware on Intel's next-generation Ultra-Mobile platform codenamed "Menlow." Insyde will showcase Menlow systems running Windows® Vista™ and Red Flag® Linux operating systems. In addition, Insyde will be participating in the UEFI Community Pavilion where it will showcase its latest InsydeH2O™ and InsydeDiY™ UEFI firmware targeted at mobile, desktop, server and embedded computing platforms along with its powerful H2ODDT™ diagnostic and debug tool.
