Insyde™ Software Demonstrates Preview of Systems Management Solution on the Intel® Innovation Engine

Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) Compliant Firmware Leverages New
Built-In Processing Capabilities While Lowering System Costs

INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM – SHENZHEN, CHINA – APRIL 13, 2016 – Insyde™ Software,
a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and systems management software, announced today that it will demonstrate its latest generation of Supervyse IPMI-compliant firmware running on the Intel Innovation Engine (IE) at the Intel Developer Forum.

Unveiled at IDF San Francisco in August 2015, the Innovation Engine is a new processor and IO subsystem that will be available on future Intel data center server platforms. Insyde’s “Supervyse on IE” solution helps drive lower platforms costs by avoiding the need for a separate management controller (BMC) to be present on the platform.

“Our Supervyse on IE solution is targeted at a variety of server segments including cloud-optimized servers, multi-node systems and special-purpose file server systems,” said Jonathan Joseph, Executive Vice President, at Insyde Software. “This is just the first of several Innovation Engine solutions that we plan to bring to market this year,” added Joseph.

Additional product details and demonstrations will be available at Insyde’s booth #527 at the Intel Developer Forum, April 13th-14th at the Sheraton Shenzhen Futian Hotel, in Shenzhen, China.
