Insyde® Software Achieves Industry-First Power-On of OpenBMC Firmware on Intel’s Oak Stream Platform
Supervyse® OPF OpenBMC Achieves Milestone Leveraging ASPEED’s Next-Gen BMC Chip

TAIPEI, TAIWAN — February 3, 2026 — Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI and OpenBMC-based firmware, today announced that it has achieved the industry’s first power-on of the Intel® Oak Stream platform as of late last month. This was accomplished using Insyde Software’s Supervyse® OPF, a production-ready OpenBMC firmware solution.
The successful power-on was validated on an Intel customer reference board with the Diamond Rapids CPU. Supervyse OPF firmware provides the core and remote management features required for today’s advanced server platforms, including full IPMI support, Redfish, KVM, and remote firmware update.
This achievement allows Insyde’s customers, including OEMs, ODMs, and hyperscalers to begin their own platform development and validation with confidence. By leveraging a proven and validated OpenBMC firmware solution, customers can significantly shorten their design and development cycles, leading to faster deployment of their next-generation server products.
