Building on its proven success in shipping Copilot+ AI PCs powered by Snapdragon X Series, Insyde Software applied its expertise to help meet the growing demands for industrial applications. InsydeH2O® UEFI BIOS delivers key benefits including easy configuration of platform settings, mature UEFI drivers for optimized performance and compatibility, and a comprehensive suite of BIOS tools that streamline the entire product development lifecycle. Advantech and Qualcomm are utilizing InsydeH2O’s IoT-optimized firmware for the Snapdragon X Elite to harness this platforms processing power, efficiency, network responsiveness, and AI capabilities for the AOM-6731 and SOM-6820Edge AI compute solutions.

Advantech’s AOM-6731 and SOM-6820 feature the 12-core Qualcomm Oryon™ CPU reaching 3.4ghz, LPDDR5X memory offering faster speed with 20% less power consumption compared to LPDDR5, and lighting-fast 5G and WiFi 7 connectivity. Both compact compute designs feature up to 45 TOPS of AI performance from the Qualcomm® Hexagon™ NPU, providing enhanced AI capabilities for applications including intelligent surveillance, manufacturing, medical imaging, and factory automation.
