TAIPEI, TAIWAN – October 08, 2024 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and OpenBMC management firmware, announced today that its flagship firmware, InsydeH2O® UEFI BIOS, is helping leading OEMs and ODMs ship the latest Copilot+ certified PCs featuring the recently launched AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 and Intel Core® Ultra 200V series CPUs.

The Copilot+ PC initiative was launched earlier this year by Microsoft, establishing a new category of PCs that offer rich AI experiences. Among its advanced hardware requirements, designated Copilot+ PCs must feature a dedicated, high-performance NPU capable of at least 40 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) to help enable a wide variety of productive and creative AI-powered experiences running locally on Windows 11.

Copilot+ PCs shipping with InsydeH2O and the Intel Core Ultra 200V Series include the Acer Swift 14 AI, Acer Swift 16 AI, and the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition.
