Insyde® Software Presents Scalable Telemetry Architecture for Chiplet-Based Platforms at 2026 Chiplet Summit
CTO to Discuss Standards-Based Approach to Enabling Observability from Chip to Data Center

HILLSBORO, OR – February 10, 2026 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI and OpenBMC firmware solutions, today announced that Chief Technology Officer, Tim Lewis will participate in a Design and Security panel at the Chiplet Summit starting on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
Lewis will present “Telemetry at Scale: Streaming Chiplet-Aware Observability from SoC (System-On-Chip) to Data Center,” highlighting how chiplet-based architectures impact system manageability and observability in modern data centers.
Chiplet architectures introduce new telemetry challenges that traditional monitoring approaches designed for monolithic SoCs cannot address. Lewis will discuss how Arm’s Server Base Manageability Requirements (SBMR) specification leverages industry standards including MCTP, PLDM, and Redfish to enable structured telemetry flows from Sensor Control Points through the BMC to fleet-level software, aligning with Open Compute Project (OCP) Hardware Management requirements.
“As chiplet-based architectures become foundational to data center platforms, the challenge shifts from integrating chiplets to exporting their telemetry at scale,” said Tim Lewis, CTO of Insyde Software. “Standards-based firmware is critical to making this work across diverse chiplet ecosystems in a way infrastructure operators can actually manage.”
The 2026 Chiplet Summit will feature keynote presentations and technical sessions from other industry leaders including Alphawave Semi, Arm, Cadence, Marvell, the Open Compute Project, and Siemens. Conference topics include AI/ML acceleration, the open chiplet economy, advanced packaging, die-to-die interfaces, and chiplet security.
