TAIPEI, TAIWAN – April 7, 2025 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and OpenBMC-based systems management software, today announced the launch of emDASH™, a firmware product designed to bring secure remote management functionality to client PCs adhering to the DMTF’s Desktop and Mobile Architecture for System Hardware (DASH) standard.

Insyde Software’s emDASH enables in-band, out-of-service DASH functionality by integrating directly with UEFI EDK II-compliant firmware on ARM and x86-based client platforms. This allows emDASH-enabled PCs to perform remote diagnostics and provisioning during the boot process without requiring specialized hardware or OS agents. Fully compliant with DMTF’s DASH requirements, emDASH also supports optional DMTF Common Information Model (CIM) profiles and can access them via the Web Services for Management (WS-Man) interfaces available in Microsoft Windows and Linux.
