SMM memory corruption vulnerability allowing a possible attacker to write fixed or predictable data to SMRAM. Exploiting this issue could lead to escalating privileges to SMM.
This corresponds to CVE-2022-24031. It affects the NvmExpressDxe driver. This issue was discovered by the Binarly efiXplorer team. The fixed versions are Kernel 5.1: 05.16.42, Kernel 5.2: 05.26.42, Kernel 5.3: 05.35.42, Kernel 5.4: 05.43.42, Kernel 5.5: 05.51.42
