TAIPEI, TAIWAN, April 9th, 2020 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and systems management technologies, announced today that Lenovo leveraged Insyde’s development, integration and enabling services in the creation of the newly launched Lenovo Yoga 5G. This ultraportable notebook PC features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx 5G processor and the latest release of Microsoft Windows® 10 Pro.
Lenovo used Insyde’s platform design, development and integration expertise to help deliver this exciting new ARM-based ultra-portable notebook PC to market. Specifically, Insyde developed several key Lenovo features, including a full Setup utility, hotkey services during POST, multiple Lenovo-specific hardware and BIOS features, SMBIOS update services, and more.
With an ultraportable 2-in-1 design, 14” 1080P or 4K touchscreen display, 24-hour battery life and lightning fast downloads with the Snapdragon X55 5G modem, the Lenovo Yoga 5G delivers ultra-quiet all-day performance, vivid entertainment, and high-end mobile gaming with low latency.
